The new Group 0+ Chicco Auto-Fix Car Seat Base – Isofix is an important accessory specifically designed to ensure the Auto-Fix Fast car seat reaches the highest possible levels of excellence as far as safety and user–friendly aspects are concerned.

Isofix is the safest and simplest system for correctly installing a seat on the car, because this is not merely attached to the car seat, but it becomes an integral part of the car frame, reducing the rotating forward movement in case of front impact.
Installation
The base is fastened to the vehicle seat using the Isofix connectors and the support leg that acts as the third anchor point, the car seat is basically integrated within the vehicle seat, guaranteeing maximum levels of safety. The base can also be anchored using the traditional vehicle safety belts, making it even more versatile.
The support leg can be folded away behind the base so it occupies very little space when not in use. The support leg can be adjusted to a number of different positions and can therefore be used on the seats of a range of vehicles.
Double Check System.
The Isofix Base is equipped with a Double Check System, a Chicco patented system. Both the Isofix connectors and the support leg are fitted with the Double Check System, as kind of ‘traffic light’ that goes green when the seat is correctly anchored, avoids a wrong installation and ensures the ease of use.
